Projects across borders.

Northbridge Asia originates, develops and manages major projects between Asia and Europe.

We connect opportunity, capital, engineering capability and local execution.

One project. Both sides represented.

Northbridge Asia Limited is a project development and management company based in Hong Kong.

We connect Asian capability and capital with European projects. We also help European companies establish, invest and work in Asia.

Our position is practical. We work between the project owner, government, investor, contractor, technology provider and local operating team. We keep those interests aligned and turn early discussions into a clear route forward.

We're involved before a project is ready for execution. We help define what should be built, who should participate, how the project may be financed and what approvals are required.

What Northbridge does

A major project rarely fails because nobody had the idea. It fails because the right people, approvals, capital and delivery plan weren't brought together at the right time. Northbridge manages that space.

Market entry

We help Asian companies establish in Europe and European companies build a working presence in Asia. The assignment may include market assessment, local company structures, partner selection, institutional introductions, site identification and an initial commercial plan.

Project origination

We identify public and private projects before they reach a standard sales process. We also locate operating companies, industrial sites, land, concessions and strategic assets that partners can acquire, finance or develop.

Project development

We turn an early opportunity into a project that can be assessed and discussed properly. This includes the project concept, commercial case, ownership model, stakeholder map, public approval route, preliminary technical scope, financing options and implementation plan.

Institutional coordination

We arrange and manage contact with governments, ministries, local authorities, state-owned companies, project owners and other public institutions. We prepare meetings, presentations, site visits and the exchange of project information. We also make sure each side understands what's expected next.

EPC and technology partners

We identify and coordinate suitable engineering, procurement and construction groups, equipment suppliers and technology providers. We help define the preliminary scope, local requirements, responsibilities and route toward technical and commercial evaluation.

Financing coordination

We help prepare projects for discussion with strategic investors, banks, institutional capital and financial groups. Northbridge doesn't present itself as a bank or promise financing. Our role is to help form a credible project structure and coordinate the parties that may provide capital.

Acquisitions and joint ventures

We help partners identify companies, assets and projects that may be acquired or developed through a joint venture. We support introductions, preliminary assessment, ownership discussions, local coordination and the path toward formal due diligence.

Project management

We remain involved after the introduction. We coordinate advisers, authorities, investors, contractors, suppliers and local teams. Decisions are recorded. Responsibilities stay clear. Problems are dealt with early.

How we work

From opportunity to execution

Every mandate is different. Our work usually covers several of these stages.

01

Identify

Find a credible project, investment or market opportunity and establish who controls it.

02

Assess

Review the commercial case, political setting, local conditions, stakeholders, approval requirements and main risks.

03

Connect

Bring the project owner together with qualified investors, EPC groups, technology providers, operators and public institutions.

04

Structure

Set out the responsibilities, ownership model, preliminary EPC scope, financing options and implementation plan.

05

Coordinate

Arrange government discussions, working meetings, site visits, technical exchanges and the controlled flow of project information.

06

Manage

Stay involved through due diligence, approvals, negotiation, contracting, mobilisation and delivery.

From the project site to the decision room.
